About Commissions

Commissions come in two options:
1. You can request a fully designed and stitched piece, which will have a turn-around time of about 4 weeks from when I start it. This will be sent to you through the general postal service. I can mount it on foamcore board on request, but I won't frame it because the frame may break in transit.2. If you are a cross stitcher yourself, or want to get into cross stitching, I can design a pattern for you to stitch yourself. Turn-around time for this will be approximately one week. I will send the pattern to you in PDF format to the email that you specify.

1. Commissions will be accepted at the my discretion. Within the ones I choose it will be first come first serve, but I reserve the right to reject any design that I don’t think I will do justice, or that goes against my beliefs or morals.
2. No explicit, sexist, racist, homophobic or transphobic content. Some swear words are fine, but I will make the final call on what I am willing to stitch.
3. If your design idea is accepted, I will send you a confirmation email letting you know which slot you are in. This will include a quote for the final price of the piece. You will have 72 hours from when I send the email to accept the quote or you will lose your place. Make sure you check your spam folder!
4. For stitched pieces, if you are the first slot, a 50% deposit is due immediately, with the remainder to be paid before the final piece is sent. For later slots, you will need to pay a smaller deposit immediately to hold your place, with the remainder of the 50% due when I begin your piece.
5. If I like your idea but all my slots are filled I will give you the option to be put on a wait-list. If I finish the other pieces early I may contact you to see if you still want it. You will also be given preference in the next round of commissions.
6. I will let you know if your idea has been rejected and why. This is not up for debate.

Small
Up to 4 x 6 inches (10 x 15 cm)
Good for patches, small decorative pieces or a few words
Pattern Only
$50 (Deposit $25)
You will receive a PDF of your design to your specified email address. Turnaround time is 1-2 weeks.
Stitched Piece
$125 + Shipping (Deposit $50)
You will receive a your stitched piece sent through Australia Post, either folded or mounted on foam core (this will affect the shipping price). Turnaround time is 4 - 6 weeks.
Medium
Up to 6 x 8 inches (15 x 20 cm)
Good for a few sentences with small graphics
Pattern Only
$75 (Deposit $35)
You will receive a PDF of your design to your specified email address. Turnaround time is 1-2 weeks.
Stitched Piece
$250 + Shipping (Deposit $75)
You will receive a your stitched piece sent through Australia Post, either folded or mounted on foam core (this will impact will affect the shipping price). Turnaround time is 4 - 6 weeks.
Large
Up to 8.5 x 11 inches (21 x 27 cm)
Good for large text or several sentences
Pattern Only
$100 (Deposit $50)
You will receive a PDF of your design to your specified email address. Turnaround time is 1-2 weeks.

$400 + Shipping (Deposit $100)
